RING lounge chairs

VANK_RING is a comfortable lounge chair designed in response to the need for relaxation, reflection or concentration. It features a unique resilient seating system and a round plate base. The comfortable rocking mechanism lets the user recline and rock freely. The high loft-styled backrest additionally provides privacy and acoustic protection. The trademark of the series is its bold, theatrical lines, a modernist base resting on a circular form, and a distinct creasing of the fabric. The solution has been created with sustainability in mind: its design makes it possible for its components to be recycled after use and its seat contains industrial polyurethane foam waste. The RING lounge chair will be an excellent choice for a study or lobby.

RECYCLING

RING is one of few soft seating collections suitable for recycling. At the end of a product’s lifecycle, it’s easy to separate the particular elements of a set: the fabric, the filling, and the frame, to segregate and process them accordingly.

CIRCULARITY

The seat is filled with post-production industrial waste collected from other companies — shredded polyurethane foam. It is a way to reduce the amount of new foam purchased and used in the furniture industry.

We’ve proven that it is possible to create armchairs and sofas that give waste polyurethane foam a second life and are suitable for recycling.

VANK_RING

ACOUSTICS

The high backrest of the armchair provides privacy. The soft, creased, upholstered surfaces improve the acoustics of the interior, which has a great benefit on the health and well-being of those present inside.

WELL-BEING

The RING cushion can be easily separated from the frame thanks to Velcro straps, and can be used as a meditation cushion during a break at work.

EASY CLEANING

Thanks to the Easy to Undress feature and zip fasteners, it is possible to remove the seat and backrest cover for cleaning or reupholstering.
