We assure you that we run our business putting a lot of emphasis on the protection of your data. 2. Why do we protect your data?

Protection of the personal data of our clients is of overriding importance to us. Building positive and honest, trust-based relationships with our clients is our priority.

Notwithstanding the above, we at VANK sp. z o.o. have implemented the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as GDPR. GDPR requires us to consistently improve our safety procedures and protection measures so that your data remains safe.

3. What kind of data do we collect, why do we ask for such data, and on what basis do we process it?

A. Inquiry – I would like to see a product

You will be asked to provide the following:

  • first name – so that we can address you in a personal manner,
  • place of residence – this will let us find our nearest partner for your convenience,
  • e-mail address – this will let us respond to your inquiry.

This data will be provided to our sales representatives or distributors of our products. VANK sp. z o.o. does not sell its product directly – our products are sold only through a network of authorized distributors.

Legal basis: Your consent to provide us with your data and to make this data available to our sales representatives or distributors of VANK products for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

B. Inquiry – I would like to learn more about an offer

You will be asked to provide the following:

  • first name – so that we can address you in a personal manner,
  • e-mail address – this will let us contact you by e-mail,

You can also choose to give us your phone number; we can then contact you and provide you with the details of the offer you wish to learn more about by phone.

This data is shared with our agents or directly with our intermediaries. VANK sp. z o.o. does not sell its products directly – our products are sold and detailed information about our product offer is provided only through a network of our intermediaries.

Legal basis: Your consent to provide us with your data and to make this data available to our sales representatives or distributors of VANK products for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

You will be asked to provide us with the e-mail address you will be sent information about VANK sp. z o.o.’s current offer and activity to. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list anytime by clicking the link given in the footer or by sending a request to have your e-mail address removed from the mailing list to hello@vank.design.

E. Contact section

We have a contact form available on our website. It will require you to provide the following:

  • your name and surname – so that we are able to identify you. This way we know who we reply to. If your details are already in our database, it will also make it possible for us to find you in our documents,
  • e-mail address – this will let us contact you by e-mail,
  • content – this is where you enter the content of the message you wish to send to us. Depending on the subject of your inquiry, you can provide us with your personal data.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in making it possible for you to contact us, in the scope in which personal data is provided voluntarily in the content of the contact form, your consent manifested in your voluntary provision of your personal data to us.

F. Download 3D Models, Download Brochures, and Download Section

Vank.design website features a section where you can download VANK product brochures and 3D models of the products viewed online. To download any such 3D models or product brochures, you will be asked to provide us with your e-mail address — for safety reasons.

4. Social media

Our website features links to our profiles on different social media platforms. To learn about the privacy policies of these platforms, we encourage you to visit their websites and familiarize yourself with the content of these policies.

5. How do we secure your data?

The processing of data in a dataset, understood especially as collecting, recording, storage, compiling, and erasing such data, will occur mainly in our IT systems. We have undertaken all measures necessary to secure your data against threats that might compromise it. In particular, we have applied technical and organizational measures aiming at preventing instances of unauthorized and third-party access to your data.

6. Who do we share your data with?

As part of our business, we share your data with our agents and intermediaries we work with to sell our products. Your data may be also shared with third parties such as marketing companies whose services we use, IT companies, hosting companies, accounting firms, and law firms.

We do not sell your data for marketing purposes.

We do not share your data with entities based in third-party countries, i.e. located outside the EU unless a given third-party country guarantees an equal level of data protection.

7. How long do we store your data?

If you give your consent for your data to be stored by us, we store your data until you revoke your consent. Otherwise we store your data for the time required for the purpose the data has been collected for, especially until the time any claims related to sharing the data with other parties expire.

8. What rights do you have in relation to the processing of your personal data?

Access to data

You may request us to give you access to your personal data anytime. The right to access means a possibility to ask us if we process your data and what type of your data we process (if we do process it); it is also a possibility to ask us for information concerning e.g. the purposes of processing, the categories, and the recipients of the data we process.

Data rectification

You also have the right to rectify your personal data if it appears this data is incorrect or incomplete.

Data processing restriction

You may request that the scope in which your data is processed be restricted according to your request.

Data erasure

You may also request that your personal data be erased in the event:

  • a) your personal data is not required for the purpose it has been collected for or processed otherwise;
  • b) you have revoked your consent to have your data processed and there is no legal basis for the processing thereof;
  • c) you object to having your data processed and there are no legitimate grounds on our side to process this data, or if you object to having your data processed for direct marketing purposes;
  • d) your data is processed in an illegitimate manner;

If you request that your data be erased, we are still entitled to process it in a limited scope in order to pursue claims or defend ourselves against such claims, and to keep this data within the scope imposed by tax regulations. For the said purposes, we may retain in particular your name and surname, your e-mail address, the records of our e-mail communication, the concluded agreements.

Objection against the processing of data by the Controller

You can also object anytime to our processing of your data in order for us to pursue our legitimate interest.

Transfer of data

You can request anytime that your personal data be transferred to an entity of your choice provided that it is technically viable.

Right to revoke consent

In the case of processing of personal data only on the basis of a consent you have given, you may revoke such consent anytime. Revocation is not retroactive. Until VANK receives information of such revocation, the processing of your personal data remains in conformity with the law.

You can exercise all of the rights described above by sending an appropriate declaration via our contact form available on our website, in the form of an e-mail message sent to hello@vank.design, or in the form of a letter sent to our office, i.e. to ul. Sarbinowska 11, PL-62 – 020 Łowęcin.

9. The right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority

If you suspect your personal data might have been breached, you are entitled to file a complaint to the national supervisory authority managing the protection of personal data.

10. Are you obliged to provide us with your personal data?

The provision of all the data you may be asked for is voluntary. If you decide not to provide us with this data, it will be impossible to use it for the purpose resulting from this privacy policy.

11. Changes in the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change the privacy policy if any such changes are required under the applicable law, if the technological conditions of functioning of the www.vank.design website change, or if any such changes guarantee better standards than those required under the law.

You will be notified of any such changes by e-mail (notifications will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided). Any such notification will be sent at least 14 days before a new privacy policy comes into effect.
