With the arrival of autumn, VANK reintroduces the WOODI collection - its iconic conference and office chairs that have earned global acclaim, receiving the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2012. Now, with new finishes, fabrics, and colors, the sustainably-designed WOODI steps into a new chapter, ready to serve the next generation of office workers. Among the new offerings is Arda, an exclusive fabric from the renowned Kvadrat Febrik brand.

VANK_WOODI is both a contrast and a symbiosis of traditional materials and a futuristic form. The geometric seat made of moulded beech plywood rests on a modern base. The frame is manufactured from recycled aluminium and can be recycled again. Additionally, the process of recycling takes place in a foundry located near VANK’s facility - not on some faraway continent.
 

WOODI chair can be ordered in 2 variants of its base: a swivel base on castors with a seat height adjustment feature or a 4-star steel frame. There are 3 versions of internal upholstery available: the seat only; the seat and the backrest; and the seat, the backrest, and the sides. Like a chameleon, WOODI adapts itself to classic and minimalist interiors as well as to avant-garde and loft environments. It can act as an office chair, a conference chair, a visitor chair, a restaurant chair, a hotel chair, and a home chair alike.

WOODI is now available in trendy fabrics, among others in the Arda fabric by Kvadrat Febrik. It is a tapestry-like, knitted fabric, mainly from wool, that replicates the forms, structures, surfaces, and colours found in nature. It is part of a design project entitled Design by Nature led by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren from the Swedish design studio Front. Design by Nature was inspired by studies that show how spending time in nature has positive effects on wellbeing, memory, and creativity. 

Additionally, WOODI is available in boucle Breve fabric, featuring a dense weave and a soft, tactile looped pile, or in Charles velvet fabric, which boasts a natural, uneven shading that accentuates the elegance and boutique character of the furniture. The WOODI chair combines innovative design, an eco-friendly approach, and extensive customization options, making it an ideal choice for a variety of spaces.
