Case study – zones for focus, collaboration and privacy
When IT experts from CLICO Hungary moved into their new headquarters in Budapest, they sought to create more than just a functional office. The goal was to build an environment that reflects progressive design principles – one that supports well-being, acoustic comfort, and flexibility in everyday work.
At the heart of this design were mobile acoustic pods placed exactly where people need them:
- In the dining area, two single-person VANK_BOX_BIO pods offer employees a quiet zone for phone calls and private conversations – placed conveniently outside the open workspace to support daily focus and discretion.
- In the open office, two 3 person pods support teamwork, quick video conferences, and focused individual work – all without stepping away from the core of the workspace.
Each pod is finished with 3D Column-shaped BIO panels, made from flax and hemp biocomposite – an eco-conscious material that absorbs sound while bringing an organic texture to the office. All pods have also been equipped with a built-in fire protection system, ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
Design that listens to people
Ergonomic seating, integrated lighting, mobility on wheels – every element is there to support dynamic work styles.
The bold blue upholstery contrasts with soft wood, exposed brick, and greenery, creating a visually engaging space that’s both grounded and energizing.
Glass walls in the pods maintain openness and visibility, while still providing the necessary acoustic insulation for focus and privacy.
