On the 27th and 28th of February we took part for the second time in the Workspace Design Show at the Business Design Centre in London. Renowned as the UK's premier workspace interiors exhibition, the Workspace Design Show attracted top architects, designers, occupiers, developers, consultants, coworking companies, and fit-out firms from across the region.
VANK showcased innovative circular design solutions that enhance the well-being of office building users. The solutions included acoustic wall panels made from biomaterial or upholstered rPET material, which created colorful reliefs. Notably, the VANK panels have an alpha coefficient of 0.9, indicating Class A sound absorption.
The soundproof booths were finished with BIO panels and featured new transparent, single-color Daybreak curtains designed by Patricia Urquiola for Kvadrat, which is available in a wide range of colors. These curtains have an irregular texture and a natural linen-like appearance, which positively affect the privacy, acoustics, light, and overall aesthetic of our pods.
The VANK pods' speech level reduction D S,A is 30.7 dB, qualifying them in Class A of this type of product. In 2023, VANK_BOX_BIO was nominated for the Mixology award in the furniture category.

The VANK stand showcased acoustic solutions along with circular soft seating collections designed for common and lounge areas in offices - RING and LONG.
VANK_LONG, a lounge armchair and footstool, was made with limited-edition End Of Series natural leather and latex infill, without the use of glue. Also, the design allows easy disassembly and recycling of components after use. The collection is modular - fasteners and connectors make it possible for the user to use armchairs to put together sofas as well as endless rows of seats. The lounge chairs and VANK_RING pouffes distinguished by its characteristic rushing were upholstered with Kvadrat's Avalon velour made from Trevira CS.

The new VANK_CUBE biomaterial system was showcased as bookcases and sideboards, desks with seating, and fa ront office desk. During the networking evening, the guests of the Workspace Design Show could experience the versatility and mobility of the collection. Together, we rearranged the coworking set into an event configuration that included a high table for standing meetings.
Setting up fair stands for just a few days can be questionable in terms of sustainability. Therefore, when preparing for such events, we look for ways to reduce the amount of waste generated and level of CO2 emissions.
Our acoustic pods and furniture were used and arranged in the common areas of the Business Design Centre and The Circle showroom located in the same building after the Workspace Design Show in London. They can be tested there by end customers.
