In January 2024, we became partners in a charity event for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity organised in Warsaw by NOKE Architects. Our multifunctional CUBE modular system wore many hats that day and proved highly reliable as it was possible to quickly assemble and rearrange it virtually on the post.

The event “NOKE and Friends for the GOCC” was a combination of art and support for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Thirty-two talented artists joined forces to create unique linocut works under the guidance of curator Ola Niepsuj. The theme of the project was “tête-à-tête”. The highlight of the event was the donation of all the linocuts created for auction to support the GOCC. The list of auctions also included a sculpture-totem designed by Olga Niepsuj and NOKE Architects. An additional form of support was the opportunity to purchase a T-shirt and bag specially designed for the occasion by Ola Niepsuj.

The vernissage, which took place on 11 January at Mysia 3, featured also a concert by Magda Bovska, a performance by Body Teller dancers, and a DJ set, which made the event even more exciting.

VANK supplied its biomaterial-based CUBE system, with its elements hand-picked and arranged by NOKE Architects. During the event we discovered its new functions — the long, 3-storey module served both as a counter to welcome guests and a display unit for T-shirts and bags. In addition, seats and tables formed a meeting and relaxation area at the entrance, and the last configuration acted as a DJ table. :) CUBE purple table tops and seats were consistent with the lighting scheme chosen for the evening.

The event was a great success, and NOKE Architects as organisers are now looking forward to the next edition. We hope that together we can make it even bigger and better, and contribute to raising even more funds for a good cause. We’d like to thank NOKE for taking part in this unique art and charity project.
