THE MAGIC OF RECYCLING
We use recycled materials to replace part of the virgin materials used in our products. For our acoustic panels, materials made from recycled post-consumer PET bottles have replaced solutions previously manufactured using polyurethane foam. Felt-finished polyester fibre panels are used to create pods and partitions in public interiors, as well as desk screens and cabinet panels. The panels can be formed using 3D pressing technology, enabling a variety of shapes and acoustic solutions.
Another recycled material widely used by VANK is aluminium. We use recycled aluminium for the bases of swivel chairs, as well as for tables and components of acoustic partitions. Aluminium can be reprocessed and used to manufacture new components and products, allowing the material to remain in circulation and find further applications after the end of a product’s use.
