On 18.11.2024, we had the privilege of participating in the grand opening of the new Smartvillage branch in Cologne-Mülheim, which now serves as our very own ‘Living Showroom’. True to the motto ‘Welcome to the jungle’, this vibrant, jungle-inspired venue welcomed guests at the sprawling 5000m² Carlswerk site.
This dynamic location provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore our circular furniture collections alongside cutting-edge acoustic pod and modular biodesigns that seamlessly blend aesthetics with sustainability. Additionally, guests can experience our end-of-series, upcycled furniture, which is integral to the Smartvillage concept and exemplifies the creativity and sustainability that define the VANK brand. These innovative pieces are designed not only to minimize waste but also to deliver a one-of-a-kind design experience.
After 2.5 months of extensive renovation, the new Smartvillage was completed and is now ready to host events in spaces inspired by Rio, Lima, Argentina, and even the Amazon. The post-industrial, repurposed spaces were designed by Munich-based designer Jutta Reidl, ensuring a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, which enriches the experience of every guest.
