FOCUS_FLAT acoustic pods

VANK_BOX_focus is a freestanding acoustic pod designed for focused work. Outstanding acoustic performance, eco-friendly premium materials, intuitive operation, and extensive configuration options set a new standard in its category. It features lockable safety glass doors, acoustic panels on the interior and exterior side walls, and a rear wall available in either glass or upholstered finish. Standard equipment includes a writing shelf with a media port, motion-activated lighting and ventilation, and a control panel. Optional features include a height-adjustable table, whiteboard and curtains.

GERMAN SUSTAINABILITY AWARD DESIGN 2022

VANK’s natural composite bio-panel and eco-transformation have been recognised by the jury of the German Sustainability Award Design competition, and the panel was named a finalist in the 2022 edition of the competition.

GREEN PRODUCT AWARD 2022

The VANK BIO panel, available in 5 different patterns, won the Green Product Award 2022 and received a special mention from a 26-member jury — Editor’s Choice — in the Interior & Lifestyle category. The panel is an essential element of VANK acoustic pods, mobile walls, and wall installations.

ICONIC AWARDS 2022 Winner - BIO

The design of VANK’s BIO acoustic pod received “The Winner” title in the Innovative Interiors category of the ICONIC AWARDS 2022 competition organised by the German Design Council.

Sound absorption (acoustic panels) according to ISO 354:2005, α = 0,90, sound absorption class A. Wall sound insulation according to ISO 10140-2:2011. Speech level reduction according to ISO 23351-1, D S,A = 30,7 dB, class A

NATURAL BIO-MATERIAL

VANK BIO acoustic panels are made from a biocomposite based on fibrous plants, i.e. flax and hemp.

The smooth walls are a result of a client’s brief, which we took a step further by adding an eco-friendly material.

VANK_FLAT

rPET

VANK rPET acoustic panels are made from non-woven recycled plastic. They can come in a wide range of colours if upholstered in a fabric of choice.

CREATIVE

The magnetic whiteboard can be used for writing and creating moodboards. A perfect tool for a brainstorming session inside the pod or nearby, turning the pod and its surroundings into an informal meeting space.

INTIMACY AND MOOD

When there’s need for privacy, focus or a special mood to accompany multi-user sessions, VANK_BOX_MOOD offers the single-colour translucent curtains.

GREEN MOBILITY

All VANK acoustic pods can be moved freely at any time — and disassembled and assembled back if necessary. This is possible thanks to the castors fixed to the base and the heavy-duty design — suitable for repeated assembly.

ADJUSTABLE LED LIGHTING

Linear LED lighting in the Focus pod consists of a double light line placed above the desk area.

All glass elements are made of double-glazed, laminated, and tempered glass, which makes them safe to install and use. The acoustic panels and fabrics have been tested for flame retardancy according to EN 1021-1, EN 1021-2 (cigarette and match).

In pod a 2x230V+2xUSB connection panel is fitted near the floor.

QUIET AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION

Mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation, providing air exchange during use. Adjustable ventilation with the possibility of ventilating the space before and after meetings in pods for 2 and more.

CUSTOMISABILITY

Available 2 pod heights: standard H1=238 or H2=223 cm. Power supply: bottom or coming out of the upper part of the roof.
